WE WROTE THE BOOK

Our Senior Partner, Carole Neff, co-authored a three-volume treatise with now-retired Partner, Max Nathan, Jr., entitled Louisiana Estate Planning, Will Drafting and Estate Administration (Lexis Law Publishing, 2d ed.). Another one of our Partners, Peter Title, authored a two-volume treatise on Louisiana real estate law entitled Louisiana Real Estate Transactions, published in 1991 by Lawyer’s Co-Operative Publishing Company, with a second edition published in 2000 by West Publishing Company.

LOUISIANA LAW INSTITUTE

Our Partners, Eric Schorr and Laura Fine, are both Members of the Louisiana Law Institute, the official advisory law-revision commission, law-reform agency, and legal-research agency of the State of Louisiana. Eric serves on the Committee for Disabled Adult Children and Laura serves on the Trust Code Committee.  The purpose of the Louisiana Law Institute is to promote and encourage the clarification and simplification of the law of Louisiana and its better adaptation to present social needs; to secure the better administration of justice and to carry on scholarly legal research and scientific legal work.
