Product Liability Law

Our firm has a long history of representing manufacturers and sellers in product liability litigation. Our clients have included manufacturers and sellers of a wide variety of both consumer products (including pharmaceuticals, automobiles and tobacco) and industrial products (including cranes, material hoists, tools, and printing presses). We have experience in complex product liability litigation, including multi-district litigation and massive toxic tort actions involving exposure to asbestos and silica. Our attorneys are members of the Product Liability Advisory Council, the Defense Research Institute’s product liability committee, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and other defense-oriented organizations. The firm’s product liability group received recognition for Defense Verdict of the Year, 2001 by the National Law Journal for its efforts on behalf of Thomas & Betts Corporation in the matter, In Re: Gramercy Plant Explosion at Kaiser.
